Good polish and compound combo other than Meguiar's

Jescar makes good products and I haven't heard anything particularly negative. I don't have any experience with them but I know a lot of folks do. I think as long as you stick with good quality brands, you can't go wrong. There are a lot of choices on the market. Find one you like and go for it.
