Good Polish for a white Truck

Good Afternoon everyone,

What are you guys using for white vehicles as a polish? it's not a normal white, it's a diamond white with some blue and gold flakes. Pearlish finish. I've had nothing but dark vehicles so i've used CG black Light and topped it with wolfgang 3.0 sealant or blackfire gloss sealant. I figured wolfgang 3.0 will still be my go to sealant even for the white. What about a good polish? something to make the flakes really pop in the sun?

Any good polish will help, get something like menzerna ...
 
which menzerna polish do you recommend? want a wet look with lots of pop.
 
It depends on the condition and hardness of the paint. For severely neglected, you'll want something with more cut, but you'll need to follow it up with a milder compound and\or polish. Much of the gloss comes from removing defects, not just adding a good wax, sealant, or coating.

Example:

Late-model Dodge Ram, Bright White Clear Coat. VERY hard paint with severe defects ("professional" detailer with a dirty wool pad on a rotary, or weekly drive-through car washes).

  • Iron-X
  • Clay Bar
  • Menzerna FG400 with a Lake Country Yellow or Orange Cutting Pad
  • Menzerna PF2500 with a Lake Country Black Finishing Pad
  • Menzerna SF4500 with a Lake Country Black Finishing Pad
  • Chemical Guys EZ Creme Glaze with a Lake Country White Polishing Pad
  • Meguiar's White Wax G61 with a Lake Country White Polishing Pad or Blue Fine Polishing Pad

If you wanted to skip a step, you could change out the PF2500 and SF4500 for something like the FF3000. The Glaze is also optional.
 
i apologize, the truck is a 2014 f150 limited, it's brand new. inspected the paint and i dont see a reason for correction. just trying to get a wet deep shine and protect. i apologize for not clearing that up earlier.
 
I have a white avalanche, no flake at all, just white. I use menzerna 99% of the time on all the vehicles I do. SIP and powerfinish "Should" cover you. If you want to try and bring out even more flake, I have been playing around with Reflect. It is the real deal. Easy to work with and doesn't take forever to breakdown. I've come to the conclusion that you can make white look really really good, but in the end it isn't black so it's not going to have that "Wow" look to it.

Wolfgang DGPS 3.0 top it with WG Fuzion. I did this sweet LS460 Monday with that combo. Used WG Paintwork Polish Enhancer first to give it a good cleaning. It was dripping wet with that triple combo, owner was over joyed.

ooh...going to bite the bullet and get a can of fuzion.
 
It took only about an ounce of WG 3.0 sealant and very little Fuzion to do this entire vehicle with my Rupes 12E. A little of both goes a long way. Applied super thin. It looked better in person, didn't have time to take better pics. The shine was really deep and wet. Make sure to use the Paintwork Polish Enhancer, it set the foundation for the other products.

I have several go to brands (Menzerna, Sonax & Wolfgang being my BigThree) but the other day I was helping a friend detail his G37 and he had a bottle of M205 that I had given him a while back. You know what, Meguiars ain't Meguiars for nothing - that stuff is fantastic and easier to use than my fancy dancy stuff. I'm re-ordering a bottle the next time I need something.
 
You said you have Blacklight. It has mild abrasives and can be used as a jewel long polish. Plus you can see removing it on white.
