I'm looking for a good wheel cleaner. Anyone have experience with Meguiars wheel brightener or non acid wheel and tire cleaner? Looking into these.

Use them every day. Not meguiars but another brand that is brown like it. Couldn't live without it. And when its extreme we use Malco brake off. Stuff is ridiculous strong.

Sonax Wheel cleaner plus is a killer wheel cleaner best I have used.

I have Meguiar's D143 and love the stuff for really dirty wheels and tires. I just make sure that it is safe to use on the specific wheels. If not then I switch to Meguiar's APC.

I chose D143 over WB, because it is ok to be used on both wheels and tires. It can be diluted for regular maintenance washes too, but feel that is overkill if you maintain your wheels and tires clean.

For regular maintenance washes then just regular car wash soap, water and brushes get the job done from my experience.

Auto Finesse works great when the bottle actually squirts.
Sonax wheel cleener is very impressive too.

Another vote for meguiars d143 or meguiars d101 apc works wonders if wheel is properly maintain and when those tough spots come use meguiars wheel brighter

Brown Royal is my go to. I dilute it so a gallon lasts a while and it has worked better than any other wheel/tire cleaning product I have used.

I have a gallon of Meguiars Wheel Brighter but only use it in extreme cases, the stuff really works but I really like Meg's All Wheel and Tire Cleaner.
Works great on the wheel and also on the tires, love watching the brown carp just dripping off.

I like Mother's Foaming Wheel and Tire Cleaner. Works well and is priced right.

I've used and like. Megs WB, Brown Royal, Sonax FE, and the newest to my arsenal is ECO Touch. Love the ET with a waterless wash!!!

For an iron attacking wheel cleaner I'm really liking Meg's Dub. It's like $7 for a big bottle.

I wish my favorite online retailer would carry this..hint...hint.

But, the best wheel cleaner depends on the condition of the wheels. It's like saying, what's the best polish...

I have had good luck with P21S Gel. Used it last Saturday on my girlfriend's black painted wheels on her Mini, looked better than when she bought it. Makes my Volvo aluminum wheels look great.

+1 on the Meg's Dub cleaner. Almost identical to Sonax FE, but a bigger bottle and less expensive.
