So I posted awhile ago about looking at a shop and I signed the lease on Monday! I moved some stuff in last night and was working in it this morning! First car was a 2013 Subaru BRZ. Did a 2 step correction and applied Opti Coat.

The only downfall is there is no drain. The concrete slopes but I plan on draping the wall with plastic and coming up with something to divert the water from the wall.(it doesn't flow towards the wall but I just need to make sure)

It has a nice little office with a counter and there is room behind the office to store more stuff,

Also came with 2 sets of rims for free! One set of 20's and a set of 22 inch Diablo rims...about 5 minutes per wheel and they look good enough to make some quick cash!! lol

Not a bad little place.Im the MAN

Very cool man! Great looking shop. I'm sure you will have it arranged like you want in no time! What's in the rest of the building?

It's office in the middle and a sign company on the other side.

I'd throw an easy up tent right outside the bay door for washing.

And a pool table with a full wet bar in the back.

Ok maybe no pool table.

There's 2 spots next to the building that I plan on setting a canopy up at. But come winter time I need to wash inside.

If only I drank lol

You'd be surprised how much more dedicated your customers are to you if they get a little liquid courage in them and are able to unwind a bit. I had a mini fridge with assorted beverages with a Sega Genesis, PS2 and an XBox with a whole plethora of games in my lobby.

I miss my shop but the location was crap. If a lowered car wanted in, and wasn't bagged to raise up, it was no bueno.

Noticed the B-Ball hoop on the overhead door!! Nice place man. Good luck

it will get better very soon i believe. i would love to have a shop too so i don't have to ask the landlord let me use his garage every Monday.

god bless!

That's a very nice little place Tom, is it expensive to rent a place like that at your city?

It's a great first step! I look forward to watching your business grow. Good luck.

Congrats! I have been seriously debating a shop. I just can't seem to find one for a reasonable price/location right now.

Congratulations on the new place and good luck!! :props:

I wasn't looking for one but the price was cheap for the area and I want something for winter this year.

And thanks everyone!

Bet you're glad to have a decent indoor detailing-facility!!

What happens to the effluent once it reaches the outer-limits of the sloping concrete?

:)
