been working from my sedan trunk for almost 2 years now... but i have few plans line up and is time for an upgrade with more equipment , options and a bigger vehicle.
i try stay away from ecoline vans as they are huge and i may end up with too much equipment.
my mobil unit set-up will be for 5-10 washes a day , and to keep up with interior exterior detail on spot , plus up to 1 step correction/polish.
so is not an "industrial" set-up, is more like a selective clientele, with mid volume.

so far i got 70 gal water tank ( i plan have it at 50 most of the time when i know that i have washes in schedule) , northtool 1700 psi el pressure washer , honda 2000 generator , duramaid 1600 extractor , shop vac 6hp, nomad 12v h20 , treated water filtration system. plan get a compressor and an el blower.

the car 2010 ford transit connect 10k miles on it:

one of the first thing was to tint front windows 35.
the passanger seats were removed also all the hardware too

the 70 gal water tank in the area where will be mounted , nice fit , i can add 2 shelvs over.

with a lot of equipment inside time to secure the investment, some grills for the windows.

also the partition wall is ready to be install , probably by next week.

what`s on my list : wrap the sides , decals as needed , 3/4 wood floor , 1 premade metal shelf blocking driver side pass door, mount reels on the floor by the rear doors , mount water tank , made 2 shelfs crossing over the water tank ....
:dblthumb2:

Congratulations on your new van. The Transit seems like the perfect fit for a detailer or any small business.

thank`s , i am happy with it so far , things will be tight in there but if are organized it should be perfect.
plus ... the wrap will do the advertise
i can`t wait to see it done and ready for work.

nice transit cosmin, it should serve the purpose very well, cant wait to see her loaded down with supplies!

Nice van. Looks like you have a lot of great plans

That's awesome Cosmin! Try and cut a deal with the vinyl guys on the wrap and possibly detail their cars for the graphics, that's what I did :)

Excellent choice, can't wait to see the finished product.
Best of luck and I hope it pays for itself in no time!

Nice looking van and a good plan. I'm looking forward to seeing it when it's finished!

let`s keep moving!

here is the partition wall installed and also the 3/4 plywood layout ( sorry for cell pic)

things get`s a little better... i have to put the wt inside so i have an idea how high the shelf will be
ftc09.jpg

everything is painted , one coat of primer and 2 of paint , all oilbase. i use the makita as grinder :))

i need to tight all the plywood that`s on the shelf , but is ready ... what i have left is to install the reels , mount pressure washer and compressor , run the plumbing and load the van with the stuff from the other car. i also have on list a wireless backup camera and an tub light fixture inside the cargo area
