Looks like the first 2 are HDR-ish shots. IMO I don't like the glow around the car.

Nice shots though, I need to pick up a 50mm to match my 35 prime

Great pics.

thanks man...

yes first 2 are hdr... rest are not.

I love that new lens.

Very nice pics as always and Marilyn is still looking hot!:props:

Probably my favorite one, there is just something about it.

That's my fave too Chris.... if you look closely, you can even see my clear bra line :)

Sorry, i read the initial post wrong...I thought you never opened lightroom period, not the NEW lightroom, hence the HDR comment.

What body are you shooting on?

Nice pictures - and nice shifter! Have two MGW shifters of my own!

the cleanest mustang around...

thanks Al... am still loving that Vic Red... although she was wearing Fuzion in those pics.

Big difference a 50mm makes, beautiful pics.

I agree... that 50mm is a beast. I can only imagine what the 1.4 50mm would be like

Np man... yeah, I am slowly leaning away from HDR... just certain ones look good with it. But yes you read it right, I have never opened lightroom or used lightroom yet. The HDR's are done via Mac, but the non HDR's are all unedited.

Excellent shots!! You will definitely enjoy the Nifty Fifty.

If you shoot RAW, you'll quickly see how powerful lightroom is.

You're having way too much fun with your new lens, gorgeous blue Mustang, and LED lights!! :props:

I love the depth of field in many of your shots but that headlight closeup is the cats ass!! :coolgleam:

Nice. Your pics show how you can really control the depth of field with a 50mm f1.8 lens! The bokeh looks pretty good.

After spending a few hours watching youtube video's on lightroom, you really get to appreciate the power and options if you shoot raw. You see how "processed" jpgs really are when even just "out of the camera".

Agree - and I always shoot in RAW, because of the added flexibility it gives in post.

Sic, car love the Kona Blue. Wish it were mine! Photography is awesome.

I agree. I can't wait to open up lightroom and shoot some raw stuff. Pun intended :)

Thanks bobby... yeah that shot is one of my favorites. I hate to think I could have gone with a 1.4 instead of a 1.8. It would have been double the price tho :(

That's really the first time I have really heard of the word bokeh. How did THAT come about? It really means circular shapes on distant lights out of focus???

Yeah I need to start doing that :(

Thanks magnus... Seeing her in the garage is what keeps me going this winter.

Great looking images, of course it helps to have the "Perfect Model" What brand lens is your 50mm?
