UPDATE, Pics on 2nd Page

And WOW does it sound good. Being on a stock system from 1995, a camry le at that, I couldnt make any healthy vitamin N to my liking. With some christmas money, I got the following:

2 x Pioneer 12" in K Logic Box running @ 250W each
Infinity Component speakers in the front and back.
Pioneer Head Unit.

I will take pics after a return from dairy queen with my M&m Blizzard. It was awesome when some idiot was trying to act all cool, his speakers drivers slapping, threw in my bass test cd [ low bass], the subs just nailed it. You couldnt hear yourself talk, it cancelled out all noise around us. He sped off yelling something :D

I do besides that time hit the ATT when going near lights so as to not disturb anyone. Im so excited :D :D

How funny!
Enjoy it! I wouldn't mind having that either!

Nice. I still have my system sitting in my garage from back in high school, like 8 years old. Well actually my sister is using my amps, I gave them to her years ago when she totalled my last truck, and I got a new Mountaineer that came witha built in factory JBL/Mach system. I had 4 Pioneer 3 way 6X8's powered by a MTX amp that was pushing I think 60 watts rms to each speaker. Then I had two 5.5" Focals in kick panels in the front doors with their tweeters in the pillars, another MTX amp pushing 125 watts rms to each one. Then the mother, I had an MTX 2300X amp that when tested was underrated in bridged mode b/c mine was pushing 720 watts rms and I don't remember the peak, friggen amp costed my around $800-900 new back then. I had that amp powering a box with three 10" MTX Extremes that were mean, each has a 110oz magnet (on a 10" sub) . Let's just say my system way outpowered anybodies at school lol, and the best part was sometimes I would have rap on, but most of the time rock music, one of 1st period teachers always new when I was pulling into school and he was on the north side of the property, I was late almost everyday but as long as he heard me pulling in he'd mark me in attendance LOL.

I still have the box in my garage. That stuff was addicting. I may get back in it. My sister is using two of my amps in her truck with the same Pioneer 6X8's and two JL 12' W7's her boyfriend gave her.

Can't wait to see the pics. I just have a pioneer HU and 4 boston acoustics 6x8 in my car.

Ryan--don't want to be a wet-blanket, but PLEASE watch your hearing, dear heart. I started blowing my hearing out when I was a bit younger than you, and one of the things that contributed was driving with the radio so loud you couldn't talk over it. Now I am deaf. As in, I must wear two hearing aids or you'd get more reaction from a doorknob if my back is turned and you try to talk to me and I don't have 'em in.

That being said, technology is grand now and I the aids I have are state-of-the-art and do a grand job of compensating...but you want to protect what you have.

just a

This is a worthless piece of a thread without pics bro!!!

LOL!

You knew it was coming. I'm a huge car audio nut and would love to see your setup.

pics on the way, fighting with the camera, you guys might have to settle for 1.3MP camera phone pics :p

The 2 12" pioneers are nuts. On a low hit, they cancel out all noise in a 4 car radius as it is. I dont need it louder.. The Infinity compnents sounds just beautiful. I can turn off the subs and listen to live concert songs, and its like Im there. I keep finding excuses to go driving :P

I always cary good sound between my 400W THX Logitechs for the PC, the car system, or my 100$ Sony studio Headphones.

hehe I didnt go that extreme, Ive got about 700-800$ in there. I have VERY sharp ears, so I went for fidelity over boom boom. But make no mistake I do embarass wannabe gangstas with the button to turn on the 12's :)

Sorta like the seismic charge in Star Wars Attack of the Clones.......LOL!
(Hope some of you know what I'm talking about.)

Loud isn't the key, Quality and control at low frequecies is what counts. Pioneer's speaker are very overlooked.

pics will be up after im done washing the car. been working hard the last 2 weeks! its idrty :(

Yeh that's what I like, and pretty much why I didn't bother ripping my other truck apart to reinstall. The factory JBL/Mach is fine for me. I had my old setup tweeked more for SQ but make no mistake, I made little gangster wannabe's quiver if they pulled next to me with their "I roll on 22's bling blingy" blasting LOL. Just slip on a rock cd and drown them out:righton:

Throw on some Mudvayne - Not Falling, or A Perfect Circle - Passive, those two songs slam on a system. Sick bass lines and you'll scare the wannabes that pull next to you lol.

Nice system dude! I have two Alpine Type R subs. 500 rms each, 850 watt kicker amp, and four infinity speakers. with built in tweaters hooked up to a seperate amp. I can definitly feel it. lol

Don't worry man, we had a 92 Camry and the same exact thing happened to the door handles! No kidding. Man those pics bring back memories... she had over 250k on her when we finally sold it a few years ago and still had plenty of life left... what a car!
