First of all let me introduce myself since this is my first post. My name is zach and I'm in florida. I've detailed my own cars before but have decided to start a mobile detailing business. I'm pretty much starting from the ground up and don't want to buy cheap stuff because to me this is gonna be an investment and I don't wanna turn around in a year and invest more money on equipment. So if anyone can give me some names of good equipment and products or suggest a good start up package that some of the websites are selling I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
 
Well, welcome, first off. Where in Florida? What have you been detailing your own cars with? By machine, by hand, and what products HAVE YOU been using on your own and with what results? That being said, if I was starting out, I'd pick a line for the paint and currently I'm loving the HD 3D products. So, tell us more and you will be getting all sorts of answers here, not to mention everything you'll need is a click away
 
I have been using products from walmart. I have done everything by hand which has good results but just takes too long. I'm in the daytona beach area. Thanks for your help.
 
To get started with very little cost I would get a Griots da, the Meguiars da micro fiber starter kit. This should take care of most problems you will see. Look into the Meguiars detailers line for bulk products.keep it simple to start with. Watch all of Mike Phillips videos, and take as many classes as you can. Hope that helps and good luck!
