Got to ask...

I used to park in the middle of nowhere.... when I could walk the distance.
Now I stay at home, or... I park in the Handicapped spots!
(And still park over the line) ;)

I try not to park next to anyone. However if I have to, I will look for a car that is well taken care of or expensive because the odds are that person will not want his or her car dinged either and will be careful.

Our office complex has small spaces so I try to park next to a landscaping space where only 1/2 of my car is open to dings. I also NEVER park under or near the lot's multitude of trees. There are only about 3 spaces that fit both criteria so I bust my hump to get to work early enough to grab one.

:iagree:

This is exactly what I do. However, no matter what you do or where you park...someone will be drawn to your vehicle and park beside it. 300 empty spaces and they will park right next to you..and close. Never fails.

HAHA No joke we just got a new 2013 VW GTI and parked away from everyone at a babies r us and came out to find someone parked riiiiight next to us!!!! I dont get it either man

I just stopped being so concerned. (Oh well, it's life)

I'm usually more concerned about someone breaking into my car and stealing audio system.

Have a two way antitheft alarm, with an automatic kill switch when I lock the car with the remote.

Getting old with bad knees has its benifits. I have a disability parking permit and as large as those spaces are other permit users at times will still park all up next to you.

Before the permit I would always park next to an island or end space so at least one side of the car was protected

Me too sir! Lol

What get me sometimes....

I dunno' what kind of car you are supposed to drive when your handicapped, but I find that when the wife is driving the Denali and I get out with my cane that nobody gives us a second look. But.... when I'm driving my G35 more people look at me (like why is a sports car parking there) kind of looks. Up until the point where I get my cane to walk in the store.
Or... it could be that they are just looking at how nice its detailed! Im the MAN

I am into custom classics my my 55 BelAir had airbags, even had flame throwers installed (did it myself ;) was lowered everything!

so if i've had it before I know I can get it again (no problem)

And since the car will be under my name it will have the handicap license plates. Haha

If I get asked "why are you driving with a car so lowered, if your legally disabled?" I am going to say "my car is lower to the ground, so it can be easier to get off" lol
