Dry sand with 500, dry with 800, wet with 1000, wet with 3000. 3m compound, Meg's polish, sealant. No drill. All done by hand. Just regular sheets of sandpaper.

Looks like a new light nice job. I like when I can save a pair of lights.

Have you considered using a drill? You would probably save a bunch of time doing so.
 
Wow! That is awesome! And you did it the hard way - by hand! Why no drill/pc? Just curious. They look new! :-)
I'd love details on how you did it. (Excuse my ignorance here - I did read the products you used.)
 
I do have a drill and have used it quite a few times but really prefer doing everything by hand. IMO I get better results, I recently picked up a dealership so I will be using the drill more often now though.
