Yeah, it's all a bit silly. I'm just waiting on my graphene vitamin supplements.
Surprised the haven’t come out with a graphene clear coat.

That ballon knot will be so slick after a wipeI was just in the grocery store and saw that Charmin came out with "Graphene-infused" toilet paper.
This sh!t is getting out of hand............
:laughing::laughing:
I had my teeth ceramic coated, Now i need to upgrade to Graphene...
I asked the same thing a while back when it was released. It does seem silly at first, but this is described as more than just a polish; it leaves a layer of ceramic protection behind. Not a bad idea I guess, and a ceramic protective layer is probably more heat resistant and durable than something polymer based.
I have a hard time believing that the protective layer isn't just a graphene infused polymer layer. Does it add durability? Who knows.
There is no graphene in that metal polish and Griots doesn't claim there is. In the product information on their website, they state it has "SiO2 and silane polymers" in the protective layer left behind. From what I've seen with other SiO2 infused sealants I've used, they do tend to last longer than those without any ceramic, so there might be some truth in the advertising here. What we don't know is how much longer it lasts because of the addition to the ceramic ingredient. 10%? 20%? No telling...
I'll just leave this here and then keep quiet. While I don't think there is a good case for graphene at this point, I do think there may be something to be gained with adding SiO2 to SOME products. From those I've used, I have seen better/improved water behavior and/or durability. The amount of improvement likely falls to the overall chemistry of the product. The only way to know for sure is to try it out. Give it a try and don't just write it off as snake oil. Technology advances every day in ways which doesn't seem to make sense at first.

That’s fine and dandy, but the use of the word ‘ceramic’ and their claim that simply wiping it on and off will leave a layer of ceramic behind really does war against us guys who are trying to sell legit ceramic services to customers.
My local tunnel wash has big banners now that say..
