Green & Eco Detailing

Hello,

New to this forum. Just wanted to ask for some feedback. I am passionate about getting educated and sharing info on green & eco detaling. I am working on an article. Here's the feedback I am looking for:

• Are you going green in your eco detailing? Green defined anyway you want.
• Where did you start?
• What are you doing?
• How are you doing it?
• If not, why are you resistant?

Any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on how to reduce the amount of energy in lighting an Eco Detailing Shop?

Anyone introducing more natural light, or finding lights that use less energy yet still deliver quality?

There are ways to become more eco friendly but at this time you will never be fulally green, there are to many plastics and what not used to package detailing supplies.however having said that there ways of becoming more green.

You can uses rinseless products that require only a few gallons of water to wash cars, recycle your plastic bottles, if you own a shop you can get solar panels for the roof of the shop (assuming the land lord and zoning will let you)
you can fine products that are both biodegratble and low in phosphates so they do not cause plant blooms in local water sourses.
You can also find companies that ship using recycled paper and packaging, once you have the stuff recycle what you have.

You can even go as far as to get a high efficeny washing machine to wash you towels and pads.

So there are always ways to go greener

We are working on some ideas in an article that should be available by early next week. Has some suggestions to get the industry started, that might help someone who has started, and to provoke a lively debate.
