Hi!

My name is karry and I just bought my new car. I am trying to learn how to care for it properly instead of always relying on someone else to do the 'hard stuff' for me.

Thank you! I'll check it out. My car is bright red, so I'm very concerned about fading and things I never knew to worry about. I've been lurking on the sales site trying to decide what I'm going to purchase when payday arrives.

:welcome: Northerner! Lol ........ couldn't resist. I make the trip to Dallas/FW often :dblthumb2:

Welcome to Autogeek Karry! Look forward to seeing you around

:welcome:

Thanks for the welcome! I've my paycheck in my hot little hands and am browsing for everything I need. Any recommended favorites for (a) a n00b, (b) good for a new car that has plastic accents (I know the louvres don't make the car go faster, but they're too sweet to pass up!), and (c) somewhat affordable?

There's not really any specific products just for this type of plastic but I've had good luck with Meguiar's Trim Detailer, here's a thread about this on MOL where I posted some very specific information on application and removal and how it works...

And here's the product in action... this is something I did while I worked for Meguiar's and was in charge of the TNOG's or Thursday Night Open Garage Classes...

Is this the kind of information you're looking for?

Thanks, Mike! That's exactly what I need for a lot of the trim. I bought the Wolfgang Deep Gloss paint sealant and the Polish Enhancer and tried them both this weekend on the painted areas. I'm hoping this weekend I'll have time to put a layer of the Fuzion Estate wax over the top and make it just drip awesomeness.

Make sure to read thoroughly what I wrote in the first link... application AND removal techniques are key to your success...

Top notch products and you'll love the results...

The two cars in the below threads were both topped with Fuzion....
