Have dabbled in using Nu-finish every few years on my cars - the extent of my interest as I never had a car to be proud of.
Purchased my first new car this spring - 2014 Mustang GT deep impact blue.
Got busy, had fun with it, took it on a road trip, washed it a few times, let bird poop sit for a few weeks - didn't really know what I was doing.
Sometime in August I decided to clean it up. I got out my bottle of Nu-finish, and before using it, decided to see what the internet had to say about it - which is how I found AGO. Learned it wasn't terrible, but there is better. I also had previous experience with it staining black trim.
So a few months and at least $200-300 later, I have a bunch of Meguiars and Optimum products and a way more towels that I thought I would ever need.
Spent about 8 hours over 2 days in September with washing, claying, Meguiars ultimate compound/polish/liquid wax - looked great after that, unfortunately didn't take a picture.
So I'm hooked. :xyxthumbs:
