Hello all! I came across AG and found it an enormous resource for me to help guide me through repainting my Jeep Cherokee. It's not a show rig. It's a daily driver that has to endure some very harsh conditions and does double duty as a work horse, hauler, and dog transport (Dane & Lab). It's see rough service and the PO did have a fender bender in which the paint & clear coat has flaked. Most will probably cringe at this, but I'm doing a Rustoleum paint job and have started on the hood as it was horrible and anything I did to it would be an improvement. I did make some mistakes and have identified them and learned and I'm pretty pleased with the results so far. I'm waiting for a HF DA to arrive along with a LC kit from AG to complete the hood and then I'll move onto another panel. There's so much info here that it exceeds my RAM, but I'm going slow on this learning journey.....

Creator, everything we do leaves a track. May our tracks be ones we would want you to see and others to follow......

Welcome! I was born and raised in upstate NY - Geneva, on Seneca Lake. I am now retired and have lived in Texas since 1975. I have lived in the two worst places for detailers. You can't detail properly in upstate NY in the winter unless you have a heated garage and you can't do it during the summer here in Texas unless you have an air conditioned garage. If I could spend my winters here and summers in NY I would have the best of both worlds!
