One customer had it go over a year and his tires still looked good. It all depends on driving conditions and how you maintain the finish. The finish is not affected by rain. It will not dissolve and sling off. This product is super durable.

I have a video where I compared two all purpose cleaners... And at the end I used Tuf shine tire cleaner to see if it would remove anything that the apcs couldn't and it did! Great tire cleaner, just wish I could get it in a concentrate :/

Wow, that was the perfect way to show how well our cleaner performs against some stiff competition. Nice job!!! Have you tried the Tire Clearcoat on you tires yet? Would love your feedback.
 
Is this tire cleaner safe for polished aluminum? Do you have to worry about it etching the aluminum or anything like that if you happen to get any on the wheel? Is it safe to use on the plastics under the hood as well?

We have strived to create a balance between cleaning power and the ability loosen event the toughest dirt, grime, silicone and grease without damaging finishes. We have tested the cleaner for etching and have done our very best to keep it safe for all finishes and have not had any issues with our new formula.

After all our years of experimentation with all types of cleaning chemicals, this formulation performs the best on uncoated aluminum. It may affect the wax finish on the wheel though, which is actually a protective barrier for the aluminum. You can rewax the wheel to restore the shine. I always suggest you test it on a small area first and never apply to a warm or hot tire or wheel. Always use in a shady environment out of direct sunlight and do not allow to dry on surfaces. Rinse tire and wheel as soon as possible after each cleaning.

The cleaner should be as safe as any other degreaser on plastic. Depending on how dirty the trim is, we dilute it 4:1 or more to clean plastic trim prior to applying our Tuf Shine Black Restore.
