Griots 15 or new Makita ???

What would you do? I was all set to pull the trigger on Griot's Boss 15 and now the new Makita shows up. This would be in addition to my Megs MT300. I am not a professional detailer. Just a hobby for now on my vehicles and a friend or 3. Feed back please
 
Perhaps Makita
If you go with a Boss, just do a G21 and put a 3in Griot plate on your meguairs D/A
 
The new Makita seems to be a nice looking polisher. Makita has been making quality tools and accessories for many a year, so I am sure much time has been spent in testing and development. I own the Boss 15 and am very much pleased with it. I converted my GG6 to a 3 inch polisher by changing to a 3 inch backplate. So I own two Griot machines and have been happy with both. I understand your question but not sure about giving advice on which machine to select. Since the Makita is so new wait until some reviews come out to make a call. Good Luck and you probably cannot go wrong either way.
 
I have a Mwguiars MT 300 with the 5" and 3" backing plate. I thought the Griots would be an excellent addition to the stable. The Makita is a double duty tool. Thank you for the reply. I just want to spend my $ wisely.
 
My clones are on Ebay, with todays sale I got the Makita 1 polisher 2 uses :)
 
I would get the Boss 15 because of the warranty.
