I purchased the Griot's 6" orbital polisher and really like it. Now I want to buy the Griot's 3" polisher.

It would be used to polish plastic headlights, trim, cowl, etc. I only see 3" foam pads for the polisher. Do I really need foam pads to apply wax for those areas ?

Please advise.

Thanks

Larry

If it's not going to speed up the process, then no!

I'm not really sure what you are asking. Griot's has 2 pads for the 3", an orange polishing pad, and a red wax applicator pad. I also use the Meg's 3" MF pads on mine.

Although it's great for certain things, it's not the most powerful machine there is; if you have serious polishing to do (think headlights), I'd consider a PC with a 4" pad setup.
