Hey guys. Anybody use Griots BOSS Creams with Lake Country pads? Was wondering which Lake Country pads would be the equivalent to Boss pads for their creams. Thanks.

I have. In my very minimal experience, I think I get the best results with Perfecting Cream using the Griots yellow pads. They are a bit softer than an equivalent polishing pad from LC. Again, not a ton of experience or testing on this, but that's my observation. Fast Correcting Cream works well with the LC orange pads. I haven't used the Griots FC pads, so I don't have a comparison there.

Hope that helps a bit.

I just got done using Perfecting Cream with a Buff and Shine Yellow. It wasn't enough cut so I went to the Correcting Cream and Yellow Uro Tec. Nice combo.

I use the Griots creams with the LC thin pro's, LC CCS and LC flat pads. As someone else mentioned, the equivalent LC pad seems one step firmer, more aggressive than the same Griot's pads. Said another way, the LC orange is firmer than the BOSS orange. The LC grey firmer than the Griot's white. That said, the combinations are quite a few regardless of which manufacturer of pad you use. Example: There is nothing forcing you to use the Perfecting cream with the Griots yellow pad. FWIW The LC/Griot's combinations I use most are:

LC Orange with Griot's FC or CC.
LC White with Griot's finishing Sealant for AIO work
LC CCS green or flat green, or Thinpro Black with Griot's Perfecting cream for bringing up the shine.

When I use the Griot's pads:

White pad with FC and CC
Orange pad with Finishing Sealant for AIO work
Yellow pad with Perfecting cream for Bringing up the shine

I very rarely use the Griot's black pads unless spreading Sealant or wax. Again no hard/fast rule as paint hardness varies as does technique, experience etc. but these may be good starting points for you.

Griot's BOSS polishes are top notch. I have a lot of experience with FCC & CC. They use top notch abrasives and will work with any pads.

I’ve used FCC with Force LC pads on my 3401 - worked really good on surprisingly hard Honda clear. Fast correcting cream is a bomb - great correction and finishes down like a polish!
