Hmmm.

I wonder which coatings they tested against? I can tell you the beading/sheeting of 3 in 1 doesn't beat CQUK or Jade Ice I've used recently and from memory I'd say it wouldn't beat CanCoat either. I'd also put it behind Wolfgang SiO2 Paint Sealant, a traditional sealant with some ceramic mixed in. From memory I'd probably put it behind Elixr too, but that isn't a good comparison as they are totally different products.

3 in 1 is a good product and I use it occasionally, but I've not seen results like what they are talking about.

The results I had with it were mixed. When I applied it rather heavy to a fresh polished surface, the beading was very good. But not on par with most coatings I've seen from videos/images posted here. I had Gloss Coat on my truck and that had better beading than 3 in 1.

As others have said, probably the best spray Sio2 sealant in the $20-$30 range. What separates 3 in 1 from most others is the durability. It's my understanding that getting a product to bead is easy. It's the overall performance that matters.

Yeah the beads are sad but it definitely sheets well. Self cleans more than some great beaders.
