Griots ceramic all in one

....personally, I'm not going to mess with it, I'll stick to BOSS creams and use a separate LSP/topper

Tried and true

Words to live by

I am frequently disappointed when I get the itch to experiment

You would think I would learn eventually

Time will tell....personally, I'm not going to mess with it, I'll stick to BOSS creams and use a separate LSP/topper

I did see they updated their polish/pad chart with the Ceramic AIO. It's below perfecting cream in aggressiveness.

This was kind of what I was hoping it would turn out to be

Almost a primer with a very fine polish and a small amount of ceramic as a base layer for the other ceramic products, kind of like Gyeon Primer

My first reaction reading that was: "Aw man, not even as much cut as Perfecting Cream?" Then looked at the chart and thought, "Well, I've definitely done some good with the ol' One Step Sealant in the past..."

As a long time Griot's guy I'm sure at some point I'll end up picking this up to try. Right now I've just been trying to figure out where I'd fit in actually having time/paint real estate to try it.

The Ceramic 3-in-1 Wax is so easy and quick to use, I have a hard time ever seeing when I’d use this AIO. I’ll just use Perfecting Cream then 3i1.

they do show up to the orange correcting pad with the Ceramic AIO so that may help it vs Perfecting Cream and a yellow perfecting pad

it actually showed back up on thier website as well

So now it is in a completely different color bottle, looks like it's an opaque green plastic instead of see through, and at least in the short video the product looked a lot lighter than the dark tan in my bottle

They had the photos of it in a green bottle when it was on their website ~1.5 months ago. Maybe they're changing from having a greenish liquid in a clear bottle (as it was when they unveiled in in November) to the current tan liquid in a green bottle to keep with their ceramic color scheme. Could have to do with the reformulation they had to do.

I guess we will know soon enough, mine is supposed to ship tomorrow and mail to Alaska is pretty reliable, unlike mail to Hawaii

Approximately 42 hours after I shook the hell out of it, it's back to its pre-shaken separation.

While it's not ideal, I don't think it's a deal breaker for me. After the really good shake, it was unchanged for about 24hrs. If I'm using the product, I might shake it a little more as I work around the vehicle to keep it mixed, but that's more of a habit anyway.

This is getting weirder and weirder

The "how to" video that was on the Griot's page for this product just yesterday is gone today

and

The release date has been pushed out to 5/30/22 as well

I guess this could mean they are going to stock their retail partners first and then offer it on their site but who knows

I am starting to believe that unicorn tears are involved in the manufacturing process

That is EXACTLY what mine looked like off the shelf

And exactly what it looked like again 24 hours after I shook the hell out of it for a couple of minutes

Not sure having to do that each time or even for each application to a pad is going to work for me

I always do it anyway but nothing I have used in the last 15 years has separated to that degree either, especially in such a short amount of time

You ever use ClearKote Vanilla Moose back in the day?
That stuff looks like 1000 Island dressing

Man that’s ringing a bell for some reason

I thought mine would be in the box I got from Griot's this week but it wasn't. Maybe it's shipping separately. If I don't see it in a week, I'll have to check in with them.

Well I finally used my bottle today on a hammered 2013 Range Rover, using my G15/G13 and orange pads I can’t believe the level of correction I got. I will say that it does build up in the pad and requires a blowout after each pass, I did swap pads every 2ish panels. My bottle had the standard separation and talking to Mr Jeff Brown he said its completely normal and doesn’t effect performance, they are looking to change up the the formula to prevent that.

Check out this video.

I waited for mine to show up and nothing so I emailed Griot's yesterday and was told the product was still back ordered and they were looking at shipping by May 5th now

I asked about the bottle color. They said it was their intent to launch with the green bottle but supply chain issues delayed it.

I still haven't received any and frankly I am tired of the song and dance
