Griot's Garage BOSS G21 review on an 18 year old Miata

Excellent review. Have you used the BOSS MF Pad with other compounds like M101, M105 or D300? or Megs Cut and Xcut MF Pads with BOSS Creams?

It would be interesting to compare the cut about Megs MF Pads (cut & xcut) vs BOSS MF Pad and compounds too, in what order from most aggressive to least, you put these 3 MF pads?

Haris, I love the review. Well documented. I especially like the mention comping the GG FCC to the FG400.
Awesome results on the Miata, the 50/50 shots look great.

If you wanted smoothness with LC, the CCS pads work very well with the G-15 & G-12. I get great results from them.
Because the CCS pads are thicker, heat isn't an issue either.

I also like working with the interflex pad, sadly it is susceptible to heat, so have several on hand, and change those out with your regular pad changes during the correction phase.

The car came out great and looks absolutely new!

Unfortunately I can't recall ever using any Meguiar's compounds with the GG microfiber discs. I have used the discs with HD Cut which was a fantastic combo. I felt that the Meguiar's and Griot's Garage discs performed very similarly. Xtra Cut discs definitely offer a much more aggressive bite than the other two.

It's the 21ES (Mk I / First Gen). The Mk II's have a white bar on top of the polisher - just aft the carbon fiber cover.

Yup, first gen. I can't remember if the MKII was even announced yet when I made this thread haha
