Anyone know if they'll be making the G9 with a 25' power cord? That's the one thing that would make me keep my GG6 over the upgrade.

looks like you'll have to purchase it separately. if you buy the 25' cord, you'll still have the 10' cord as a back up...

All looks very well thought out and designed.

Interesting with the detachable cord, didn't know that from watching an earlier Video. Nice that there is an option for the longer Cord, again looks like Griots had their thinking caps on.

Some might not like such a feature, but perhaps could be a good idea at an area where cords can weaken, fray and break with repeated bending like I've seen a number of tools I've owned do.

Provided the Cord and Connection is built well, should be no problems. Such a feature was common on many Milwaukee Tools, and I've never had any problems with such even under extreme heavy duty usage.

Looks nice, been looking at battery polishers. I detail but no generator, would something like this be usable with a 600Wh power station? I mean usable to the point I could one step a clients car? I'm about to go google Wh and how to convert the numbers to figure out how long I could run something like this. But with my California public school education I'm not sure I'll figure it out lol.

Price is really good, but I wish they'd offer a total bare bones version as I'll probably buy one. But I'd definitely get a 5" backing plate and the longer cord. I might have use for a 10 foot cord, but I've never touched a 6" pad and probably won't.

I don't get the videographer technique of having people look away from the camera while they talk. But that removable power cord sure is neat.

I like this option. On my GG6 I am sending in for the GG exchange program I have the 25' cord that has been helpful sometimes, at other times the 10' would be sufficient. So the best of both worlds.
