That's cool, so you got the newer, more powerful model. Sometimes I wanna get it, but I've already got my PC 7424XP and I only occasionally use it now since my first paint correction and recent polishing project. I pretty much just use it for applying glaze on the paint now.

I've heard nothing but good things about GG and their warranty for their machines, not the first instance I've heard of them replacing an older model with a newer one.

Just makes me feel all nice and warm inside :awesome:

I not long ago got my PC as well. But I always apply glazes, waxes, & sealants by hand.. any reason u prefer to use the PC?

I used to apply sealant by hand, got spoiled with my PC, lol, but I've recently gone back to sealing the paint by hand. I feel as if applying a slightly thicker, but still thin and not all messy, coat to the paint by hand with a foam app., the sealant seems to cling much more to the paint. Glazing by machine, I prefer that since the glaze I use says to work it in firm circular motions, and my hands and arms easily tire out and cramp. The machine allows me to work the glaze in pretty well without tiring so quickly.

When I seal the paint, I use straight line motions, no more circles. Circles actually make the waxing/sealing process harder, in my opinion, lol. It took me some time to get used to the SL method, but it's all second nature now. Better coverage with the sealant.

ya the old one i used twice had like 4 hr's on it

@Elton - Did they contact you when they received your broken orbital?

That's an amazing warranty. I just broke mine. Emailed them to see if I could buy a part and they said to just send it in. I'm expecting to pay for the part and return shipping, but I haven't heard anything from them. It arrived at their return location last Thursday.

got no phone call i also didn't have a sales receipt i did have to pay to send it back which was more than fine with me
