Griots long lasting tire shine???????

That dressing looking great, I can see the excess dressing too...how about you lighly drag an old towel across the rubber after a 10 to 15 min dry time to reduce the sling or just save this stuff for when you deep clean the wheel wells

Try Tuf shine tire clear coat, easy to get the wet look, long long lasting, no slinging
 
Any "long lasting" dressing is likely silicone/oil based. These types of dressing may last longer; but they tend to hold onto more dirt, sling more, never dry (stay "greasy"), and make the tire much more difficult to clean.

IMHO it's better to use a water based or polymer based dressing and reapply after every wash after cleaning the tire. Polymer based dressings like Prima Infinity last longer and actually dry to the touch.
 
Tuf Shine is the best I've found for no sling. It's not as shiny as I like but it's worth the compromise for not slinging. Needs at least 3 coats.

Wet look and no sling don't go together but I must say the tires on that Camaro do look good, but not wet. Turtle Wax tire coating is another option for you, locally available and cheap and easy to use, it will impress you, I know it impressed me!

As far as your Griot's stuff, well, they've got superior customer service, call them tomorrow and tell them your experience and you'd like to send it back to try another product and I'm sure they'll take care of you, seriously!
