For this product, is it necessary to go over it with a finer polish? I noticed in some video's some will use v36 then v38 just as an example.

can you just go straight to a sealant or wax when using machine polish 3?

Griots says that their all-in-one-sealant (have used a lot of it) is mach polish 3 mixed with their sealant. It's a very good AIO. If you have polished a car with #3 machine polish I'm guessing your paint is looking pretty nice. Seal it up and/or put a nice coat of wax on it. Preferrably both, and in that order.
Buff the 'mutha and have a cold one.

Well put! :dblthumb2:

ok cool. I just keep seeing people use a polish with a orange pad, then go to a finer polish and go with a white or black pad to restore the shine. I thought you had to do the same thing with machine polish 3

There's really no need to follow up #3 with #4 IMO, their customer service guy even said as much and I agree, after MP #3, put a coat of protection on it and call it a day.

#3 is a finish polish so it's designed to be the last step before you wax or seal. If you're using their orange pad, it doesn't have much cut so don't worry about that either.
#4 is very mild.

awesome man thanks guy's. I bought there orange and not for nothing, its very very dense and seem's it has a lot of cut lol Kind of scary since I never used the orbital yet. I was going to start off with a white pad first
