I tried searching for some info on the Griot's one step sealant, but I couldn't find very much. Sorry if this is a repost of a long answered question.

I have a bottle of the One step polish that I've had in my closet a few months. I was thinking of using it with a orange pad on my 7424 to clean up some very minor imperfections on my 2013 Grand Cherokee and provide a sealant. It's my daily driver. It has some very minor swirls.

Would the Griot's One step sealant be a decent product to use for this? If so, does anyone have any application tips?

Thanks for any input you can provide.

Should like it. I don't use it often, but have with perfectly acceptable results. Because it doesn't have much cut, the orange pad should do fine. Just start with more pressure then at the end do a couple of section passes with slight pressure and it'll finish out nice.

Thanks, that's exactly what I needed to know. Wasn't sure if i should reduce pressure at the end or not

I use 1 of 3 AIO's, depending on need, Meg's D151, DG501 and GG. D151 corrects more, DG501 cleans better, but GG has the best longevity IMO. When there's only the time or energy for one step, I reach for the GG.

This will be my first time using an AIO. I'm used to doing the 2 or 3 step process. I figured I should give it a shot since I've heard a lot about using them for daily drivers and when time is short.

Yep, I like to reduce pressure with all the Griots stuff because its old school DAT type products. As the abrasives break down what you end up with is moving more crud around on the surface that actually isn't cutting anything. It'll just be built up paint and whatever other material is coming from the surface, (including the compound itself).
