No pics, as I forgot to snap them and the car is now a bit dirty.

Picked this up at Advance Auto. I was in a pinch for an AIO for my winter prep and after some reading, this seemed like a good product. Topped with 845. Car is white.

I applied using my GG6 and a black LC pad. In hindsight, I should have used a white pad for some more bite, but even with the black it did remove light defect that I wanted it to. VERY easy to use. Spread easily and a little goes a long way once the pad is primed. Shake this stuff up a lot. It separates quickly.

Let it dry for about 15 minutes, which was longer than I needed to. IT almost flash dries. Wipe off was VERY easy as well. Scary easy.

The look was pretty bright. Good slickness, not great. The next morning revealed slicker finish...quite slick. Look still a bit bright, but that's ok for me on a white car. Topped it with 845 and it looked VERY nice. Going to wash tomorrow, hit it with another coat of 845, and then some UQW.

I've always been so so on Griots. However, this was a nice product and I am tempted to top it in the spring with their paint sealant. I am also going to try their spray wax and speed shine, which seem to get good reviews. They definitely have some interesting products, and their AIO is going to be on my shelf from now on.

I think the Griot's One Step is a good product but even after using it, I still prefer using their polish #3 followed by either wax or their Paint Sealant depending on which car I'm doing.

I'm all in favor saving time but sometimes it's best to do it by the numbers. Their One Step is a fine product...especially if time is tight. Maybe the difference is perception more than reality.

I have used their One Step a couple dozen times or so, and I am very pleased with the ease of the job vs results and the 8 month durability. They say it's up to 12 months. I have the paint sealant but have never used it because I love the convenience of the one step too much. I only use it for DD, because, although it looks nice, there are better looking LSPs I can use for my Garage queens.
As far as the paint sealant looking better than the one step, I'm sure you are right. The One Step contains their fine hand polish, so the polish must inhibit the clarity since it doesn't all disappear once you buff off the excess. I believe that is true of all one step products.

I prepped my truck for winter using the same process. It's an older truck so perfection is not required. I used Meg's paint cleaner first then GG one step sealant and topped with 845. Looks great! All set for winter.

I just did my expedition last tuesday. It looks as good as it has in some time. I topped it with 476 for some extra durability.
