Here you go. This is the reply I recieved from Griots when I ask this very same question.

"Thank you for contacting Griot's Garage with your product question. Speed settings for our 6" Random Orbital are as follows: 1: 2,500 OPM, 2: 3,360 OPM, 3: 4,220 OPM, 4: 5,080 OPM, 5: 5,940 6: 6,800. These speed settings are approximate and will vary depending on the amount of pressure that is applied to the machine.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reply to this email or call our Customer Service Department at (800) 345-5789 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. PST Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday.

Not trying to be a wise ass, but why would anyone need to know the rpms with no load at various speed settings?

Just comparing to a flex forced rotation polisher since they list both opm's and rpm's with no load that is all

The 3401 does produce rpm's as it is forced rotation (gear driven), whereas a da such as a PC, Griot or Meg's produces rpm by way of a free spindle rotation and that's why the specs is for opm's and not rpm's.
