Griots Stuff?

Are there any must haves? I ask because I was in advance auto today and picked up their MF wash pad. Great for traditional washes as it hold a ton of suds.

Their car wash, spray on wax, speed shine, and one step sealant looked interesting.

Feedback on anything?

I've been using their products since 2005, so I feel I can speak to "must have's":

-their 3" and 6" random orbitals for sure. I know some like other machines out there but for me, I couldn't be happier. This tool has a lifetime warranty as well:dblthumb2:

-machine polish #2 and #3. For "average" swirls, these 2 products really do the job and although I haven't used the #1 (the most aggressive) I bet it also does a great job. Their pad system is very easy, orange for polish and red for waxing, easy:dblthumb2:

-caranuba wax stick. An easy to use "deodorant stick" type applicator makes applying it so easy and makes sure you don't use too much. As far as product itself, its 33% content so lasts a pretty long time for a caranuba, goes on and off VERY easy and smells great, I mean really, really great:xyxthumbs:

I don't wanna say everything I've used is a must have but well everything I've used has been great, the above mentioned things really do stand out but their clay, quick detailer, microfibers, various tire dressings, etc have made me very happy. In closing, the one thing that's a must have with any vendor is customer service and in this department Griot's Garage is a MUST HAVEIm the MAN

I used to use a lot of Griots products but in recent years have switched back to Meguiars and Wolfgang. However, I still use Griots car wash shampoo and buy it by the gallon. I also really like their purple paste wax but they lost my business on that when they changed exclusively to the "deodorant stick" packaging. Now, I use Wolfgang Fusion exclusively so have no interest in their recently introduced premium carnauba wax.

I've just gotta know, why would they (Griot's) lose your business because they changed the caranuba wax into an easy to use "deodorant stick" type applicator? Instead of digging it out of the jar, you just "dial it up", what could be easier? Its the very same product too, I don't understand your logic here at all and either does Mr. Spock, afterall, he's all about logic!

As far as marketing goes, well, at the end of the day a company is in business to make money and advertising is a part of the deal but IMO they back up their products and even have museums using their products exclusively. I know some have said there's better products out there but that's opinion and most of us who've used their products have had great experiences with them and they make shopping so easy and run free shipping deals all the time, especially during the holidays and like I mentioned, great customer service!!

I picked up the waterless wash and it really gave my black paint pop!

I have the full machine polish set and #1 is actually quite lousy when compared against the many other options out there. It will knock out defects, but leaves tons of marring and fine swirls behind. #3 polish is a nice one though for minor paint maintenance.

i only use griots wheel cleaner, price point is is a bit high for some stuff(not concentrated rtu products) i dunno nothing really draws me to griots for some reason, if theres a good sale ill pick up some more of their products though....for the griots carnauba wax stick, just save your old deodorant containers, clean them out really well and melt your favorite wax and pour it into the container, i honestly wish more companys would put waxes in those containers, makes it SO EASY for machine application, dont need to worry about dropping a cake of expensive paste wax on the ground, nor dont need to worry about it melting in your hands or cracking apart when you go to remove it from container....
