What buckets do you guys have wherein the grit guards are tight?
The Lowes 3 gal white buckets work great with the grit guards.
Inside or outside dimensionSome of the 5 gallon buckets have a taper that makes it easy to stack. My grit guard will go down to about 5" from the bottom. My other bucket from Tractor Supply, the grit guard will fit in the bottom and turn. I have measured and for the grit guard to fit in the bottom of the bucket, the bottom needs to measure at least 10-3/8" across, The taper one's measure 10" or less.
When the guard bottoms out in the bucket it creates 4 different compartments and does a better job trapping the dirt
