I have tried a few different buckets to get the grit guards to sit on the bottom without any luck. Does having the grit guard in the middle of the bucket effect the performance? All and any tips will help! Thanks!

No it doesn't. That is funny though, there isn't a 5 gallon bucket I have found that it doesn't fit... What type of bucket are you using?

I bought some at walmart, then bought some that looked really wide at lowes and the grit guard sits almost in the middle of the bucket. Where did you get your buckets at?

Take you're gg to lowes and start dropping it in buckets. I know there is one there that fits it but I forget the color.

i got the short big ones thinking they would fit. The only others they had were the silver tall ones.

The orange "Homer" buckets from Home Depot fit Grit Guards in 'em. :xyxthumbs:

Those silver tall ones are the 5 gallon ones those are the ones they fit

Thanks, i'll run by lowes and HD to check out to make sure they fit.

I guess I should be more brand loyal since my husband works at Lowe's but he hates to shop and bring stuff home and HD is closer.

Does he know that you say these things behind his back?:nomore:

It's 10 1/2" no need to take your grit guard just a tape. The white 3 1/2 gals. at Lowes fit.
