Gtechniq EXO - IN STOCK!

Think I'll just go with some DuPont prep sol followed by carpo eraser. That should take care of it.

I am going to be applying EXO tomorrow on a 2011 Ford Ranger in Redfire Metallic
I stopped by [insert typical auto parts store name] and picked up this:

The directions are as follows:
1. Hold can in an upright position, with arrow on button pointed away from you, approximately 8 to 12 inches from surface. Apply a liberal coat.
2. Allow to stand for about 1 minute and wipe dry with a clean, lint-free cloth. Turn cloth frequently to ensure a clean side contacts surface. Replace cloth as necessary.

Here's a link to the msds:

This should work right?? I really like the idea of using aerosol Prep-All instead of in the tin can.

If I go over the surface twice with this, EXO should get a great bond right?

Len's website, good read. I was a member there a long time ago when he was still using the WEBB's forum software. He's using vBulletin now and I didn't see an archive of old posts from pre-vBulletin days.

Hope that link can help the guys in here .

Yep , I ll need to try it once , but my paint s only 2 weeks old , 3 months cure time .

I'll be trying it out Thursday. On a brand new Toyota rav 4 and a 95 Acura integra Gsr I just had repainted 7 months ago. I'll let you Guys know how it goes. I've tried just about every lsp out there so I'm excited to see how this holds up . As most have been saying looks like the prep is the hardest part but it will be worth it for the extended longevity.

Cool , lets keep us updated buddy

Well I finished up last night. I did my pearl white 2012 rav4 in my garage under flourescent lights. It was about 85 degrees and I had my dehumidifier running as usual.
I started with a dawn wash. Then a DuPont prepsol wipe down. Finished up with another wipe down of carpro eraser. I wanted to make sure it was clean as possible.
I started applying the exo and noticed rite away it was tough to see on the white paint. I almost couldn't tell if it was being applied or not.
I also noticed that it disappeared rite away. I wiped each panel after application but didnt see the need to cause like I said it seamed to just vanish. Maybe the dehumidifier allowed it to cure faster?
I did two coats plus windows.

My first observations are that it doesn't really look much different then it did after the wipe downs of solvent. It's a new car though so it allready looked great.
I think carnuba feels more slick to me but it's hard to tell honestly. I'm gonna let it sit for the 48 hours in the garage before I pull it out.
I think I did all I could to prep for it so I feel confident it will last.
I'll post back after it gets rained on lol

One question I never had answered. Will a waterless car wash product like ultima waterless wash have and negative affect on the exo. I know it has some kind of poly booster so I'm guessing it might leave something over the exo.

It's gonna be hard not to wanna wax this thing lol but winter will be here before we know it and that will be my true test for it.
So far it's pretty awesome stuff.

Thanks for the review. I've read that EXO like some coatings gives more of a smooth feel, not real slick say like BFWD. I'm sure you can wax over it if you get the urge.....I do over OC and CQ....sometimes just for therapy or to gloss it up a bit.
