Little side project I did for fun with an extra hood. Stripped, wet sanded, & polished bare aluminum hood.

Last pic doesn't show a lot of reflection but gives you idea what it looks like when installed. (silver paint came out darker in photo than actual color, the contrast isn't all that terrible between the panels, it was dusk time)

This was a one step I did with HD Polish. It was then topped with Blackfire Wet Diamond.

Thanks, I think it came out pretty good for a first timer and zero experience polishing when I attempted it. I kept it on for about 8/9 months and probably need to re polish it to clean it up a bit. At the moment it rests in the garage, almost like an art piece c7424:

Actually, it is. You just can't see any of the blue metallics in that photo.
