It's HERE!!!!! Yahoo.... Pot#50!!! The smell is incredible, i can't get enough of it...not sure if this is unique to my pot or not, but I LOVE the fact that all the wax can come out of the container so I can easily spread it on my DA :buffing: I can't wait to use it tomorrow...got home too late tonight to mess with it, but HAD to open the box. I'll report back with a mini review of my experience. Ohhhhh that smell...it is deff my new favorite product smell!

Couldn't resist, had to put a coat on the hood of my Pontiac Torrent. I'm not an expert by any means of carnuba waxes, in fact this is my first paste wax. It seems to be a hard wax, so i grabbed an applicator, spritzed it with QD, and started swirling up the wax getting it to 'melt' on the applicator. It spreads like butter, and the aroma is incredible when you are working with this product. I am going to let it sit on the hood probably overnight, and plan to remove with some QD as Drew recommends. It seems to go on really glossy, I can't wait to get it off. After the application, i found myself doing the smell test across the hood...I sound like a lunatic, but the smell is awesome. If you want to know what it smells like, support Drew and buy some!

Who knew where this was going? yea, I took it off...waited about 15 minutes, obviously put it on a tad heavy, was grabby coming off, but a spritz of QD and it was smooth sailing. My garage smells awesome...the whole room...its funny. Torrent hood feels so silk....NICE!

I have my Protowax (36, 38, 54) at the shop, but kept my Carnaubavore at the office. I have misgivings about using it. I think I may keep this one as a "collector item", and just open it once in a while to take a whiff of it.... MY PRECIOUS!!! LOL!

Yea my neighbors caught my 3.5 year old daughter and I sniffing my car one day. They basically just shake their heads and keep driving.

I got pot # 030! Bought it the first day I heard it was available.
Regarding people who think it's too expensive or not good enough because it's not a "name brand" I want to say this...
Anyone who pays attention on the forum should be aware that many iterations of this wax were developed and sent out to others for testing and feedback. Drew didn't exactly have the budget of one of the big name brand product manufacturers, this was a labor of love. So you're not just paying for a pot of wax, you're paying for him to recoup some of that R&D investment money. Plus, this is at its most basic form how an economy works. A business minded entrepreneur with a genuine passion goes after his dream and creates something for other enthusiasts. I am happy to pay the premium for this wax to support that business model partially because I've seen what's gone into the development of this wax.
And to anyone who wants to argue that LSP doesn't have an effect on what a car looks like, I don't hear about you using the cheapest stuff you can find at the parts store. We've all seen what Claude did with the PW54 on the BMW and 69 Camaro, of course the polishing was done to perfection, but the LSP certainly helps.
On another note, I stuck my nose so far into the jar of this stuff taking a whiff of it I left a nose print in the wax. It smells so freakin' good....

Seriously Drew, this kind of make me sick. The thought of you having potentially lost customers because of a mistake in the cost/oz is sickening.
