Hack Job Corrected...

Very nice save. Love the color of that truck. :xyxthumbs:

Thank you!

Excellent work Tad and great before and after pictures...

By the way I gave you credit by name in my book for a tip you shared on our forum along with a number of other AG forum members.
:)

Thank you Mike, I appreciate your kind words! BTW congrats on the new book, I'll have to get you to autograph a copy for me...:dblthumb2:

awsome job Tad the truck looks GREAT!

Thank you, I appreciate it!

Phenomenal work Tad!!! I love seeing the dramatic improvement with your 50/50 or before/after shots!!!

I bet the owner's jaw dropped when he saw the truck. You saved him a ton of money too!

Thanks Marc!

That poor guy must have been holding back tears when he saw how beautiful you made his truck. especially after thinking it needed a re-paint.

Thank you:dblthumb2:

Great job on the paint correction.

I would be interested in how this badge came out and what you did and how you did it to make the badge as nice as the paint.

Thank you! As to the badge; I'd like to tell you that I did some gomboo stuff to it to make it look great, but truth is that I didn't really do anything special to it. I just cleaned it with a boars hair brush with car wash soap during the washing stage.

That's a flat out sweet job!
Excellent work to be proud of!

Thanks Merlin!

WOW! Tad that came out looking great. Keep up the great work.

Thanks Bobby!

I like your two step selection of M105 and Menzerna PO 106fa. That combo always produces incredible results.

Thanks!

Fantastic work!

Thank you!

Nice work Tad. How many hours did you spend on this beast?

Nice of you to clean-up that differential as well. I bet the owner really appreciated that little extra detail :props:

Thanks Flash! I spent 2 full days and one 1/2 day on this one. I always try to do a little something extra to make the detail standout...:xyxthumbs:

Nice job. I bet the owner was impressed.

Thanks Twister!

nice work man.

Thanks Big A!

Nice job Tad!!! +1 for you for going the extra mile and going underneath making it look better too!!!:props:

I always try and give the Customer more than they expect, it is good business sense to do that.

Thanks man! I hear ya about "giving the Customer more than they expect, it is good business sense to do that". I totally agree!

UNHACKED!!! Super job Tad!!!

Thanks again Jim! :D

Fantastic work!

Thanks for looking Gary!!!

Great work! I can't believe the body shop can give a car back like that. I'm surprised that body shop haven't learned or invested in DA yet.

Thanks man! I hear ya about "how the hell could someone charge someone to do that kind of work"????:nomore:

Pretty sweet buddy! Almost looks as good as the trucks sitting in your driveway! How are you feeling these days?

Thank you for your kind words my friend, I appreciate them very much! I'm doing great, almost fully recovered now, thanks for asking! Hope all is going well for you too buddy! Can't wait to see you and hangout again in March...Im the MAN

Great save!!! The final results are awesome, I bet the owner was floored when they saw it. What process did you use to clean up the emblems?

Awesome work on the truck! Really looks nice now. The before pictures are really hard to look at, yikes!

Thanks for the honesty. It just seems that, in my experience so far, that the badges, particularly on older cars, take a disproportionate amount of effort to bring them up to par with the corrected paint. I guess I was hoping for a secret silver bullet for dealing with them.

I must also say...Great save!

Never been a big fan of 'blues', but that is just down right 'pruddy'!

Excellent save Tadman. Your correction abilities are top notch. Maybe you can teach AR how to do the same. :D

I recently purchased a black crew cab '03 Dodge and went back and looked at your detail on your wife's daily driver truck. I have been working on it a few weeks now off and on (haven't had time to do a full detail on it in one session). I have taken some cues from you though on it, the undercarriage is going to be sprayed before long, but with it getting colder here, I don't really want to clean it now before painting. :D

Thanks for the kind words Dalton, I appreciate them very much...
As to teaching AR, well we both know how that would go...:D Good luck with your beast, I am sure it will be stunning when you are done!

So was I, sometimes its awesome what a basic cleaning will do to those emblems

Nice job Tad, wouldn't expect less from you.

I already saw this at Live2detail but just wanted to tell you that as always your work is stunning and something to admire and strive for my friend!

That truck didn't look that good when it was new!:dblthumb2:

Thanks again for your kind words buddy, they mean a lot to me! I've learned a great deal from you, and appreciate the countless hours you spend testing (and sharing the results) of so many products with the rest of us...:props:

I can only add my voice to tbe chorus- great job!

Thanks!

Absolutely stellar results. I cannot even imagine the satisfaction that you, and eventually the owner felt upon seeing the finished product. Bravo !

Great job! Looks so much better! The owner must of been super happy!

Sorry I missed this earlier Ted. Thanks for the compliments. I think you'll get a kick out of this; we just prepped this vehicle for "Chrome in the Dome" along with.........................................(the part you'll like) a 1964 Fairlane...http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/show-n-shine/47658-64-ford-fairlane-correction.html. A cool old car, but not nearly as bad ass'd as your Scarelane!
