Had my first customer today lady called me yesterday said her car had some sap on it and hadn't been hand washed in 5 years only taken through the automatic wash. I asked her what her budget was and she told me she had about $80 to spend. She then stated the she was not worried about the interior that she vacuums and wipes it out once a month. For the $80 she spent she was overwhelmed at the final outcome. After about an hour and a half the job was done, I used meguiars apc diluted 6:1 on wheels tires and fender wells, dressed the tires with automagic cool blue water based dressing, i aggressively washed the car with meguiars soap (cant remember which kind), nanoskinned, and applied chemicals guys butter wet wax with my dual action. This car went above my expectations as well as hers! Photos really dont do it justice

Thank you, I was definitely hustling trying to get it done. I timed myself with everything I did it took took 10 mins to wash car 20 minutes to clean fender wells wheels and tires, also dress them. 25 mins to nanoskin 25 mins to wax. Then you got your time changing backing plates cleaning pads etc etc.

Looks real good! I bet she was very pleased I know I would have been! Just think of all the great word of mouth advertising you are going to receive from her your first customer.

Nice work.....all in 1.5 hours.....hopefully she's got a lot of friends to tell

looking good.

and very efficient use of your time.

congrats buddy

Thank you everyone, it means alot! Ive been watching a guy on youtube that nails it in your head time is money and be efficient.

Congratulations on a winning combination........good products, time used wisely, customer happy. GREAT combo there!!!!

Nice job and hustle.I find that if someone has a budget and you can accommodate it for 80.00 she will tell her friends you did a wonderful job for 80.00. Expect calls from people interested in the same deal with a nasty dirty car or even a truck. Its happen to me countless times, people think you are a one set price, don't go down that road and clarify your prices with the people that call, every car is not created equal. There for you must charge for the condition and size of the vehicle.I figured I mentioned that so you don't get burned Gd luck.

Great job on your first customer. You did a lot in a little but of time, nice outcome!

I would like to thank everyone for the feedback, I had no idea I would get these kinds of reactions, still no more calls yet :(. And gskr thanks, I would charge around $120 on a full size van or suv that's Alot more paint to work with.

I don't know how you did all that in 1.5 hrs. It takes me 45min.-1hr just to do my wheels and tires. Washing is the easy part, even that takes over half an hour... and polish too??!! Heck, I've never been able to all of that in 4 hrs. Wonder what I'm doing wrong.... rhetorical.

I just hustle, time is money. When you have to take the aggressive approach to washing a car it's gonna knock some time off because your not worried about scratching the car, warn your customer before hand that if you have to wash aggressively some marring might occur, there's just no way around it. I used the nano skin on my da which cut down Alot of time, and as far as wheels and tires i make it all one process. I soak the fenders wheels and tires with megs apc and start from top to bottom then scrub tires then wheels, rinse and dry wheels with rag takes me only a couple minutes per wheel. And as far as polishing I didn't polish just applied the wax with my da which if your working In a shaded area you can cover more area than doing it in direct sunlight.
