Finally someone who has experienced the HID :dblthumb2: i was at walmart and saw the Stanley HID is BRIGHT!!!! of course is HID but i tho it wouldnt work due to being too bight!!! lol it comes with a bright white HID but i was thinking if i buy it in buying an ocean blue hid bulb dont u think the imperfection would show up better with blue in white cars and white in dark color cars????

twin 500 watt lamps are great to highlight imperfections in the paint while polishing.

i dont used a HID Lamp..too bright.... i use a HID hand held light/headlamp. along with led handheld and obviously dual 500watt hologens 8)

I use twin halogen lamps and a LED light around my head. So far so good. I have the Sun Gun on the way to me. I will post my opinion when I receive it.

I have the twin 500 watt halogens, a single 500 watt halogen, and my brinkmann swirl finder light. Does the job! I do want to pick up an LED headlamp for working on interiors while I'm in my garage though.
