Hello all,

I am doing a paint correction on a Caddy and was trying to see if you guys had some suggestions on how to properly hand buff? I did a search and came up empty handed.... Pun not intended

Caddy has some of the hardest paint out there. If you don't have a machine then you aren't going to be doing much if any correction.

I think Mike did half a hood by hand and it took 2 hours. If you don't have a machine then use a paint cleaner then some good filling paste wax like Autoglym HD and charge accordingly...

Most of the car is being done by machine I'm just hand buffing some smaller areas like side skirts....

Small areas= 3.5 bp and 4" inch pads. You won't be sorry :)

This worked out very well still had to handbuff a few small spots but 4" pad ended up being a life saver.
