Most of the car wash are like that one....Some times it is better to wash your car at a ''brush car wash'' than at a ''hand car wash''.

i agree. i also noticed at alot of these places they dont clean the tires.just the rims. so they put tire dressing on dirty tires!! owell.

So, did you "s-l-o-w-l-y" back out of the line and make a b-line for the exit??? <G>

when you think about it, chances are their wash and dry media would scratch the heck out of your car even if they didn't drop it on the ground. it's not like they use clean mitts and towels for each car. so I guess dropping it on the ground will get you swirls AND RiDS...good grief

In my area there is one carwash + a coin-op pay-n-spray.

The carwash is a hand wash with brushes. They have a guy on each side with a long handled brush. Eeek.

Whatever areas get missed by the brush (like where it doesn't fit) gets picked up by the dry & finish guys rubbing the dirt around.

Run, Forrest, RUN!!

Maybe the worst are the kids doing washes for school activity donations....I sometimes give them money, but pass on the wash.

IMO, car wash establishments are for the 80+% of the population who are not that car detail oriented so some scratches and swirls are not issues.
