hand rubbed soft purple haze over souveran

It gives amazing depth and warmth, but it's not nearly as easy to work with as Souveran. Don't overapply it, don't apply it on an even moderately hot surface, don't let it sit for more than five minutes, and don't get it on anything you don't plan to throw away after you're done (other than the vehicle). I've tried everything under the kitchen sink to get it off of my pads and nothing will even phase it. So, I guess those pads will be used to apply it from now on. I'm not sure how durable it is and I don't care!

i just did a coat of blue velvet followed by purple haze and i commented to the wife that this combo may be the best looking one yet. im gonna bag the applicator for future use only with this combo since like smokin mark i could not get the product off it either.

Thanks Nitro, at least a senior member can't get the product off either. If anyone can beat soft purple haze over souveran on a black vehicle I'd like to see it.

i always let all my waxes set for about a half hour before removal even then ones that are WOWO. i then use a qd such as oid to help removal and increase gloss a lil bit (imo). this time however i used ocw to remove purple haze and liked it even more than using oid.

Nice pictures. I have both Purple Haze and Blue Velvet that I've been wanting to try out for some time now. Thanks for the heads up on not being able to clean the pads out. I'll just make them specifically for these waxes :D.

I soak them in DP pad rejuvenator for 30 min. Keep rubbing them with yoour thumb every 10 minutes. After that, I throw them in the wash with my microfiber towel, using microfiber cleaner. They come out fine.

The P21 applicators work the best with the dodo hard wax. Just spin them back and fourth each time. They fit right in the jar.

my only worry on this is how much of the solvents in the newer coat of wax removes the older wax ?? Spit shinning techniques might resolve some of this.

the spit shinning doesn't work well if you chew tobacco thought
