Whats up guys and gals...Happy Friday! Seems like the weeks just fly by, especially towards the end of the year. Holloween is two weeks away...what the?!?

What's everyone's plans for the weekend? I was supposed to finally detail my friend's car...the one I was supposed to do a month ago. Apparently she's having baby daddy drama and will have her daughter this weekend and needs her car. SO....since I didn't get a chance to winterize my car last weekend, I'll do it this weekend. Sunday I'll be watching the Redskins whoop up on the Eagles.

raining since Wed here and supposed to go all weekend too

sux

Saturday morning will be spent with my local Porsche Club for our first annual concours. I will be a judge and also a contestant...though my 996 is not quite up to my standards yet. A new twist for the show is that bribes to the judges are allowed. The judges have the right to keep the bribe or auction it off. Entrants will also have 90 seconds to sell the judges on their car. We took the idea from the Concours de Lemons. Should be a fun day of fellowship, food and Hooters girls.

Sunday I'll be watching the Redskins whoop up on the Eagles.

I'll be listening to the bloodshed from the driveway of a friend's house...got permission to use their car as a guinea pig on Sunday.

Saturday is a wash/recharge of the shine from last weekend on my car, and I may wash the folks' cars for them too. My old man used to have a 1988 Lincoln Town Car, triple-black (1st shot at my driver's exam in that battleship!), so he was always pretty particular with keeping it clean. At the same time, I do remember powdered car wash, lots of ArmorAll and nasty sponges. He watches intently now and asks a ton of questions when he sees a new AG box show up at the door. At 70, he's back into loving a detailed look again...just with better products and technique. I'll still get the windows though, dad.

Tonight...there's a cold barstool somewhere that needs to be warmed up.

We took the idea from the Concours de Lemons. Should be a fun day of fellowship, food and Hooters girls.

Awesome! And 24HOL is one of the best events/series I've ever been to...awesome people, incredible cars but a detailer's worst nightmare. Could be the only bunch of people who'd fix a scratch (or anything/everything else for that matter) with JB Weld.

Happy Friday indeed! Not much on tap for this weekend. Hopefully just some R&R.

TGIF !!!!! Raining here today. Hope it clears for this weekend. Gotta get my detailing on :)

Was supposed to wash my girlfriends car, but she got called into work. So I guess my truck gets a wash then.

Saturday.... Who knows

Sunday I will watch my Packers kill some Rams ( yes I am a Packers fan.)

working on the honey-do list(which I hate) today so I work on my projects sat and sun.

Bending some metal for the facia on the house and installing it......a little shin-dig at my son's house sat eve

Sunday is all mine!!!!!!! whoot! Got some scrap pieces of metal in the shop and got an idea to make some bottle holders so thats my plan.
As long as Mrs07 doesn't throw a monkey wrench and mess it up! LOL

right now its beer brake! I like beer brake :D

Running a half-marathon on Saturday morning ('cause I am a glutton for punishment) and then giving the X5 its winter prep...wash, clay, seal and wax.

Then I will go back to work on Monday so I can rest...

ONR the Z tonight and re-clean the leather steering wheel as it turned out a bit tacky this morning after cleaning it for the first time in 2 1/2 years with OPC (10:1) last night. Then tomorrow is the real fun, the last drive of the year with the Z club. Sunday will probably be spent recovering from Saturday's ~300 mile drive.

Edit: in case anyone is curious, this is roughly the route we're taking (overall route is accurate, start/stop points are rough) CA-99 S to US-50 W - Google Maps

Working in the morning, then watching Michigan -vs- Michigan State @ 11a

No plans yet beyond that point :)

Watching Miss State and the Texas Rangers tomorrow then watching the Cowboys on Sunday. Will probably give the car a wash and wax in between

Going to watch my son's little league football team ,"THE BRIER CREEK BOBCAT'S" take on the welcome raider's then home to detail the wife's windstar and my 1967 mustang fastback!!! GO BOBCAT'S!!!!!!!

Nothing auto finish related.
Sat. Pull up all the dying stuff in the garden.
Sun. Clean out garage, pressure wash floor and interior walls. Spray with industrial strength termite killer.
Collapse.

Probably volunteer at the animal shelter (do that every weekend), wash my mom's car, and wash and wax my dad's car.
