Happy friday!!!!!

Trying to cleanup the garage and get things organized better, as I have a potential client bringing over his Tundra this afternoon. Trying to look more professional so people have a good first impression when they see how I run my detailing from my home.

May hit the rock gym up with a buddy when I am done with the Tundra. Definitely going up to Richmond tomorrow to check out the rock gym there with some buddies!

Man I REALLY want to clean out my fiancee's garage...its ridiculous all the crap thats in there. BUT the keyword is fiancee's! Granted...I done took over and have most of my ish in there now, but its still her's and I can't completely take it over. I asked her if we could start cleaning it out and she said thats fine when it starts to get warmer out. I think my first night in her house, when we're married, I'll sleep in the garage...I envy those that have a garage.

We have plenty of room in the Pilot house. You may have a dog for company during the night but he is snuggly and warm.

It's required that we have our cars inspected before putting them on the track. The inspection will check all the necessary safety items, tires, brakes and all that good stuff. Unfortunately, they always find something that needs addressing so I am going in with the assumption that I will need to be very nice to Mrs. Pilot this weekend so the repair money "ask" wont be as painful to her.

I bled the brakes and put on new shoes last night so that should be good.

Imma just come and hang out with you one weekend Ed...you sound like you have a very interesting life.

LMAO @ dog for company...thats funny...as long as its okay with my snoring I'm good LOL!

And for the record, I just stepped outside and yep...still gorgeous
.....hate you Ed...I don't but just right now I do.

Happy Friday Alex! I'm going to be trying to replace the belt tensioner pulley in our van this weekend, in the cold. UGH.. It decided to give out on my wife Wednesday.

I wish you luck with that Dave....I hope you won't be outside outside...will you be in the garage?!?!

Happy Friday the 13th!:props:

12degrees in the UP and its been snowing since Wednesday night.

There won't be any detailing in my future till spring time, but I'm going to go play in the snow with my truck this weekend.

Hey sorry to hijack the thread. I have a cabin in Ontonagon Chris. I love the u.p.!!

Nope! I won't be able to get the van in. When the tow truck delivered it, they dropped the back wheels off the edge of the drive way and right now there's no moving it. Perhaps I'll try to get it started and get it in there. But the battery is unfortunately shot (tested bad), and without the alternator, I don't believe even fully charged it would have enough juice to get the van that far. Yes, it's on the list to return it to AutoZone under warranty. THIS SUCKS!! LOL

Luckily I believe it's only 1 bolt I have to remove, but it's a bolt that hasn't been removed in 145,000 miles.

I'm in Houghton right now for school, but my family has a cabin over in Champion.

Man, you have no idea how upset I was. But I did get a $25 tip, so I guess working up until delivery on some of the fine details was worth it.

Good luck with your repair.:props:

I remember when the idler pulley in my truck started squealing in February, which always seems to be the coldest month in Chicago.

I wussed out and took it in.

look the belt over.....Ime when tensioner gives up the belt becomes shreaded wheat.

Its never fun having to work outside in the cold....just take your time...cold fingers and a slip of the wrench......makes for a real nice SOB tool!

Yeah, been there done that more than once!

It's going to be a balmy 20 degrees tomorrow! 30 Sunday, maybe I'll wait until Sunday, 10 degrees can make a big difference.

Got her started, down the drive, turned around and in the garage! Now to get a new propane tank so I can get some heat in there!
