Happy Friday boys and girls!!! Im the MAN Sorry I'm alittle late in posting this, but I just woke up not too long ago. I took a mental health day today and it felt pretty good to sleep in.
I preparation for the big game on Sunday, I posted the following to kick off the weekend right!

I don't really have anything planned this weekend. Since the weather will be fairly nice, I will probably detail my neighbors other car :buffing:. I only had a chance to detail the minivan...which she was THRILLED when I handed her the keys. I'm still trying to find a spot to watch the game on Sunday...I may hit up a bar with my sister and some friends. Since I didn't go last weekend I may hit up the bowling alley as well. Other than that I really don't have anything else planned.

What about you guys and gals? What do ya'll have planned? Does anyone have any Super Bowl traditions?

Happy Friday Alex! That Seinfeld commercial is great! Porsche Pilot will be spending a quiet weekend at home. I have orders from Mrs. Pilot to get my shed cleaned out and the garage straightened up. I told her to take today off and get a head start on cleaning. I may be living in the shed by tonight for that comment.

I will probably pull the company car into the shop this weekend and do a test and review on CG Blacklight. I have really liked that product and am testing it as an AIO. I will try to shoot some video and get it posted this week.

It hit the 70's here yesterday and gave my truck a quick bath then my OCD got the best of me so I'll be finishing up exterior in a little bit then another wash then some waxin!!

Happy Friday! Nothing too big here. Petsitting my parents cocker spaniel tonight until Sunday afternoon. Will be a good experience for the gf's cats since we're talking about adding a dog of our own to the "family" hehe. Other than that, just installing a new part on the Jeep and a small Superbowl party on Sunday. Maybe take the tops off the Jeep and go for a drive to the off road park on Saturday for a bit and do some learning on how to drive her properly :xyxthumbs:.

I have work on Sunday but I'm closing the store early to go watch the game. Boss doesn't know that though

Yep...It took me FOR-E-VER to detail the van. It wasn't in too bad of shape inside but outside it was nasty. I had to spray OPC on the lower half of the vehicle it was that nasty. Rims were layered nicely with chocolaty goodness. I did alot for $60 but she said she'll recommend me and bring me business. I just hope she keeps in mind that that price was for her only. I think it was anice ice breaker for the other neighbors too.

It was 72 on tueday here...I wanted to be out detailing a car...I should have took tuesday off as a mental health day. Its not as warm today but its still nice out.

I had to dog sit my fiancee's two dogs. I'm not a pet person...still trying to get used to the dogs. I hope the dog and cat gets along. My sisters dog didn't get along with her roomates cats at all.

Good luck on the paper. I'm fittin to get back into school myself. I just got my formal evaluation for my transfer credits. I hope I don't have that many classes to go.

I don't really want to do anything else... But who knows.

I'm a little down because I had to turn down a guy who wants his 67 GTO color sanded... Would have paid a lot, but no insurance means no sanding for me I'm afraid.

I got somewhat of a busy weekend coming up. Going to change my oil today then hit dinner and a movie with a good friend. Saturday going to hit the gym finish my 15 page essay then get ready to see some motocross at night! Sunday hike, superbowl with the family, and then do the usual sunday night Karaoke tradition lol. Monday recover from possible hangover, or sleep, and full correction Tuesday yaaaay!

My weekend consists of relaxing, watching the Blackhawks, and the super bowl.

I don't really want to do anything else... But who knows.

I'm a little down because I had to turn down a guy who wants his 67 GTO color sanded... Would have paid a lot, but no insurance means no sanding for me I'm afraid.

I know what you mean on the car. Takes alot of balls to turn down a job like that. I've currently been trying to find a good deal on insurance but I have still done wetsanding jobs. Usually my customers want it pretty bad, I tell them my situation, and they usually agree to sign a waiver. Going to pick up a paint gauge soon just for more peace of mind.

Sort of on the diary. I haven't done too much to it yet as I'm a bit short on $$$ for the big stuff. Right now I've just added little things like locking lugs, stuffed polyfill in the stock speaker enclosures to help acoustics, a good set of slush mats, and this weekend is installing the black aluminum gas cap door (there is NO door stock).

I'm not worried about the dog. She's pretty laid back, and my parents already had a cat when they got her as a puppy so she grew up with a cat as the "alpha" animal. The gf's cats have never really had any interaction with a dog though. Hopefully it goes better than their interactions with other cats :laughing::laughing::laughing:

Dang man...sorry to hear about you turning down the color sanding job. Have you ever done that before? Once I get a steady stream of customers, I'll get insurance.

Thats whats up with the ride! I feel you on the dough...I am pinching my pennies for this wedding coming up. I can't afford to do too much extra, thus the delay in getting pads for the Flex.

LOL well, there will be no other cats. My parents cat had to be put down last year (he was like 16, it was time). We tried to get a 3rd cat ourselves last August. It didn't go over well with the other two and he went back to the adoption people within about 5 days. He was 9 months old and when we got him home the kitten came out. I think that was part of the problem with the other two.

It also set off the gf's allergies. She found out she's actually moderately allergic to cats after that, but it took months to stop getting hives daily for her because she didn't want to get rid of the two she's had for years. She was on Allegra for like 4 months straight and just recently has been able to stop.
