Happy friday!!!!!

It is, but it's a TON of work. Calculating suspension geometry and mounting points, designing uprights, control arms, etc plus I am in charge of the suspension team so I have to babysit as well as do my own stuff

Happy Friday!

I'm going to the auto show on Sunday. Should be fun. I've got an exterior 1-step to do at 1pm today.

Other than that I plan to relax.

Happy Friday Ben!!! Have fun at the auto show, as well as the detail job. Have a great weekend man!

I'm just about done with machining all of my suspension parts on the CNC. Took me forever to learn g-code but pretty stoked now that I understand it. This is for our senior mechanical engineering design project

Dynamite! So when are you moving to China to get a job?

Will be a fun weekend here. Besides washing the Jeep and the gf's Altima at some point (the Jeep is filthy from off-roading last weekend) tomorrow is a crab feed at a friend of ours' place. Lot of fun, lots of crab, wine, and beer involved, usually about 25-30 people. Sunday and Monday (holiday) will be recovery from Saturday lol.

I'm sure you had a ball off-roading! Crab Feast sounds like fun....I hope you guys have a good time! Have a great weekend man!

That guy reporting the traffic in Huston got me!

That was my favorite as well...I was rollin! It sounded like he planned on quitting his job that day too.

I just remembered I took Monday off for my son's birthday! YAY for long weekends!Im the MAN

Nice!!! Happy Birthday Dave's Son!

Negatory Alex. This is for our senior mechanical engineering design project (FSAE car). Basically we design the frame, suspension, engine/drivetrain components and then build it and compete with it in Michigan with in a variety of tests with schools from around the world. We are limited with many rules to even the playing field a bit.

(borrowing richy's red replies technique :D) That's really cool man! I hope you were able to feel like learning the CNC was personal reward/play more than work! It's great having access to things that most folks don't have in their home workshops! Does it put a big grin on your face when the mill cuts out a part?

Here is a picture (just a google image)

Here is a video of Kansas from last year in the autocross event (fastest car last year)
JMS Autocross Fastest Time of the Day-FSAE Michigan 2011 - YouTube

How many of you guys watched the vid and at the end of the course wanted the driver to hammer it straight around the oval?

Dynamite! So when are you moving to China to get a job?

Don't listen to this guy!

Mmmmmmmmm. Feeeaasssssttttt.

LOL!!! Happy Friday Rick!!

Happy Friday. This weekend I have to pull the transmission of the S and find out why second gear failed on me :(

Aw snap! Dang man...sorry to hear it.

Happy Friday. This weekend I have to pull the transmission of the S and find out why second gear failed on me :(

Sounds like the weekend for transmission pulls. The one I'm working on is due to 1,2,3 gear synchros.

Thanks machine! And welcome to the forum! Make sure you post a new thread and introduce yourself.

Nope!!! Not afraid to use it on the rental at all!! LMAO!!! Its a 2011 Nissan Altima (Blue). Paint is in ok condition. Not too bad, has moderate swirls. I'll take a few before, 50/50, and after pics.

How often do you wax your car? I only wax mine after a big detail...I'll use the spray wax in between, but I don't want to go through the process of claying and then waxing. On my soft paint, even mothers clay mar's the paint.

Please post pics Alex and let us know what you think of the PE-14!!

I try to wax my car every 2-3 months. It really depends on how much free time I have. Lately, I haven't waxed my car as often as I'd like. You can wax your car after a wash. you don't have to clay or fully detail your car when you wax it. At least, that's what I do. I rarely clay my car because it doesn't have to be clayed.

I can only imagine. Honda black is crazy soft.

Have a great weekend, Alex!
