I'm just about done with machining all of my suspension parts on the CNC. Took me forever to learn g-code but pretty stoked now that I understand it. This is for our senior mechanical engineering design project
Negatory Alex. This is for our senior mechanical engineering design project (FSAE car). Basically we design the frame, suspension, engine/drivetrain components and then build it and compete with it in Michigan with in a variety of tests with schools from around the world. We are limited with many rules to even the playing field a bit.
(borrowing richy's red replies technique) That's really cool man! I hope you were able to feel like learning the CNC was personal reward/play more than work! It's great having access to things that most folks don't have in their home workshops! Does it put a big grin on your face when the mill cuts out a part?
Here is a picture (just a google image)

Nope!!! Not afraid to use it on the rental at all!! LMAO!!! Its a 2011 Nissan Altima (Blue). Paint is in ok condition. Not too bad, has moderate swirls. I'll take a few before, 50/50, and after pics.
How often do you wax your car? I only wax mine after a big detail...I'll use the spray wax in between, but I don't want to go through the process of claying and then waxing. On my soft paint, even mothers clay mar's the paint.
