I'm back home visiting family and friends this weekend and fellow member Derek0609 served our country for a year defending out freedom. My wife and I will be visiting him and his family all day Sunday....THANKS DEREK 🇺🇸

By reading some of the greetings here, it appears many do not seem to know.

My grandfather who served in WWII always says, "Thank you, but I'm not dead yet".l
 
Sometimes Memorial Day and Veterans Day get mixed up, but who cares? Vets need the love. By the way, have you heard about the government giving millions of dollars to sports teams to promote "thank a Veteran" at stadiums over the last 3 years. What a terrible waste of money when Veterans could actually use the money to survive. Our government is so wasteful. I just had to fight for ten years to get back surgery, I finally gave up on the VA and used Medicare and the cash I had saved up. I am 100 percent disabled by the VA. Have a great Memorial Day!

It always surprises me to see that people don't know that the holiday was designed so people could put a Memorial at the grave of a fallen soldier. Now it's more a way to get a matteress on sale at Mattress Discounters

Memorial Day is a time to reflect and honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the service of our country and to remember their families. We salute you.

Veterans Day is for all of us veterans her have served our country.
 
It's always great to appreciate our service members (past and present) but there's already holiday for that (Veterans day) :) THIS holiday is to honor those that gave the ultimate sacrifice! View attachment 34636
