I was finally able to take advantage of the great weather we had and finally use some of the goodies I've bought a couple months ago and give my truck a proper wash.
Wheels - sonax & diablo
Tires - Meg's APC
Wheel wells - Meg's APC

Then I used my new foam gun with Mr. Pink and let it sit on my truck for a couple minutes then rinsed. Refoamed and rinsed again. I then refilled my foam gun with cw&g and did the GDM using cw&g and about 20 MF's. I sprayed my truck first then pulled a soaking mf and did a panel. In between panels I would rinse with water to get the soap off ASAP because the sun was out and it was 82 degrees. I did this the whole time, spraying the panel with my foam gun the cw&g then using a soaked mf to clean the panel and then rinse with water. Before I could even dry my truck with my WWMF's the water was already drying and leaving white water spots. I could not get them removed and didn't want to rewash again. How can I get these off my truck? What's the best way to dry when the sun is out and really warm out? Can I use a QD on each panel with a chinchilla MF and clean it up or will that scratch? I didn't want to use the WW and press to hard while drying and risk creating more scratches. I haven't had time to correct my paint yet using all my new toys but plan too very soon. It's a 2012 black Tundra btw.

try using a qd or spray wax for a drying aid that prevents allot of streaks and water spots.

I agree. Even on butter soft paint, immediatel after drying with Mothers foam core towel, I follow up with Mothers Showtime QD & a Cobra 600 Deluxe. Water spot free everytime :)

If you have fresh water spots that a detail spray will not remove, you can try Duragloss Water Spot Remover.

Ok so while the truck still has water on it spray QD and wipe it down with soft mf. If the water has already dried still use a QD and gently wipe down. Duragloss if needed for the tougher spots.

So frustrating! So tired of attempting to just wash my truck and that makes it even worse than what it was. So now I need to rewash, attempt to dry before this awful Oklahoma water dries, clay, and polish my truck. I give..

I feel you. Just washed my car today with ONRWW in 69 degree weather. Its usually around 90-100 degrees during summer, but even at this temp I find that you have to work QUICKLY. Spot dry immediately, and follow up asap with some QD and a plush MF towel.
