Hard Wax for Black Car

Souveran looks great on black, but dust and pollen tend to stick to it a little. You can use a anti-static QD after application, like I said above. Fuzion is great also, and it is anti-static itself. Durability is longer than souveran. I've only had a issue with the frozen batch of fuzion from the winter. There are non of those left so don't worry.

Another great wax not on this site is Rubbish boys original edition. Application is harder than the 2 above, but it looks great.

So would you recommend using 2 coats of Klasse sealant, then the Fuzion over top of that?? Would I get that wet deep shine on the black?? What is durability of the two together? every 2 months reapply?

I would use 2 coats of wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant. Then fuzion or souveran.

Sounds good you seem really knowledgebale, wanted to use what I already had but I want the best so ill get some of the DGPS

If you have a order, you can ask for a small sample of wolfgang DGPS. They will throw one in for you to try. Just call, PM or e-mail meghan.

Other possibilities: Meguiar's Hi Tech Yellow Wax (M26--available both in liquid and paste) and Lusso Oro. Both are said to look very good on black.

Im the MANyes the Yellow M26 is the very nice! Im using it over the top of the natty blue and wow! Killa shine.

Yeah but you get free refills for life on some of the multi-thousand-dollar waxes.

For the rest of you guys talking about these waxes for $9,000-$30,000 with lifetime refils. I wouldn't pay 30K for life time supply of blow jobs, but that's just me.m ;)

I'll admitt, I am a wax junkie. But that much on wax is insane. Maybe if I won the lotto, just to see what it's like.

I just got some Swissvax Saphir, and its the best wax I have used so far.

i just did a half hood with signature series and half with swissvax concorso and the concorso was much better looking imo! i also really enjoyed the application with my hands.

i think for cost im gonna do nattys blue over the klasse high gloss sealant for now till its gone, is that a bad combo?

Im in the same boat I have a 2010 Camaro SS on its way! I was looking at Soverun carnuba, Fuzion is new to me (havent really been on the boards for a year or so) I have klasse high gloss sealant glaze right now (gray bottle) and just finished a bottle of old 3M on my truck recently and want to get a MUCH better wax!

Whats the skinny on fuzion vs the soverun?

to look like this!

I have both, and for the looks I happen to like Souveran better on my black car. imo it's a deeper and wetter look. If you're looking for durability and something that doesn't attract pollen go for the Fuzion. If you don't care about durability and have a good anti-static QD, go with Souveran. Or heck try both and see which one you like best.. :D

I have tried numerous Zymol and Swissvax products over the years, and still find my way back to Souveran Paste. I dont see that, if any, a difference and certainly not justified with their pricing. Its always funny to hear/see others suggest they saw something more, and in a blind test would have 10 others suggest no difference.

Heres my take, at the under 400.00 price point everything is compared to Souveran and few would win in looks and especially in ease of use/removal. If you want better durability the move to Fuzion Paste which offers polymers for enhanced durability.

I wasn't impressed with my sample of DoDo Juice Hard Candy either. The wax balled up while trying to apply it. I'm not sure if I got a bad tub or if it normally does this, but I didn't like how it applied at all. The look was nothing better than my other waxes.

I have a 2008 Black Vette...as others have said on here I dont think the product that you use is the real reason Pollen collects on these cars it seems that pollen just shows up on black more when compared to other colors...

I just detailed the car with the following: Poor Boys Black Hole Glaze, DoDo Juice Blue Velvet and topped that off with DoDo Juice Purple Haze....

Quite frankly, I LOVE the shine, depth and slickness I get....was a Zaino NUT for many years, still love their products but just decided to switch off of Zaino for the Vette to see how I like it....still using Zaino on my other cars...

All that to say Im satisfied with DoDo Juice and Poor Boys...:D
