Wanted to share this awesome motorcycle with everyone. This baby was washed, cleaned and polished then coated with Americoat. The results were stunning and the customer was blown away.





 
Awesome job on a incredible american motorcycle. The owner has put some really nice parts on that bike. Not over the top, very functional, and looks great. Any motor mods? Those 103s will run! Absolutely nothing like a Harley! Have you worked on a new Indian? I want to work on one of them so bad!
 
Holy Polished parts Batman! Looks incredible. What were the steps involved and products used?

It had a stage 2 kit on it. Have not worked on a new indian yet, but would love the chance to.

Bags and seat were taken off then washed

#0000 steel wool and ONR on all chrome.

#205 on the paint

IPA wipe down and Coated. I went around the bike 3 times with the coating. (kept finding new stuff to coat)
 
Thats the deal with harleys, everywhere you look there is something else to polish, coat. But thats part of the reason they look so good.
Was the chrome in bad shape? Is this the reason for the steel wool? Luckily I have not had to use steel wool on a harley yet. Some metal polish and all was good.
Once again great job!
 
Impressive, bet it took way longer than expected, bikes have so much surface area and hard to reach places.
 
Great work on pretty bike, I truly admire who can execute this kind of job.
