2nd time I have done this, just this time I remember to get pictures. Great bike, lots of chrome! Did it this morning so he could trade it in for his new bike, which I will be going back and doing on sunday! Im the MAN

again owned by a camera phone! :argh:

nice!!

im VERY glad to hear hes trading it in. I HATE SPORTSTERS, except for beginner bikes.

and idea on what hes upgrading to? road king, fat boy, other make?

i love hearing guys that own 883's. They always try and make themselves sound bad azz when they say "its got the 1200 kit" or "the screaming eagle kit". that means nothing, lol.

Interesting that Sporsters are referred to as beginner or girly bikes.
I have a good friend that just purchased a 1200 Sportster and to me it looks more like a motorcycle than the saddle bag, windshield, fairing, hand grip tassle, everything but the kitchen sink road whales that the Harley crowd seems to think are a man's motorcycle.
Two wheels and a motor are all that's really necessary. :D

Actually it may have been a sportsteer but it wasnt a beginner bike. Had a good bit of work done to it, but it wasnt fast enough running high 11's. So he traded it in for a gsx1000r.

I concur! You find the same thing in the sport bike community too with Ninja 250's or anything under 600cc for that matter. Shut up and ride! :props:

Nice work on the Detail. I just polished up a Super Glide last weekend too. ;)

yah you gotta do ALOT to a sportster to get it near the 11's. Im glad hes stepping up. whether its a sport bike or anything else. im just glad its a sport bike (personally). MAN thats a HUGE upgrade from that sportster to a gix1K.

and no, i have nothing against harleys being a sportbike rider.
